Honestly only positive is how close it is to Guwahati airport. But im sure you can find better places nearby airport. The room looked old but decent. Sheets looked not so clean. Worst part was the food I ordered, which not only tasted bad but also upset my stomach. I ordered egg pulao and raita. Raita was terrible and watery. Pulao tasted quite weird too. I couldn't finish either. Besides, WiFi was disfunctional. When called reception to fix WiFi, they sent someone who provided WiFi from a different floor with weak connection, which didn't work after 10 minutes. Overall disappointing experience.
Hotel Mirana is ideally located, being close to the old airport. When I stayed here in 2023 and 2024, the standard of the hotel was quite good. However, during my recent stay in 2026, it seems to be losing its reputation. Although the room is spacious, cleanliness is not up to the expected standard. The bedsheets and quilt do not feel fresh or smooth—possibly due to staleness or inadequate cleaning. The electric kettle is also unclean, which is concerning. Additionally, the corridor outside the room has remained wet since yesterday’s rain, creating a potential safety hazard. To make matters worse, the plates from yesterday’s dinner are still lying outside the room, which reflects poorly on housekeeping services. I strongly suggest that the management take immediate steps to restore the standards the hotel was once known for. I clearly remember the excellent hospitality they used to offer, and I hope to see that level of service again.
Stayed at Hotel Mirana during my short visit to Guwahati. The hotel is quite convenient, especially considering its accessibility to the Guwahati International Airport, which makes it ideal for travellers with tight schedules. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained. The service was prompt and the staff were polite and helpful. The food was also good and well prepared. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place for a short stay in Guwahati.
